account statement 24-hours a day, 7 days a week from the comfort of your home or office?

E-Statements provide you with increased protection from mail fraud and identity theft plus the added convenience of accessing your statement on the 1st or 2nd day of the month.  Why wait 5-6 days for statements to come in the mail?  Simply register for this FREE service through NetLink online banking.  Within 2 business days you will be able to view, save, print or email your e-Statement from your own computer.

Members can retrieve their statements back to January 2002.  You can even email your statement to yourself!  The requested statement(s) will be sent to the email address you submitted at the time of your registration.  For statement security you will be required to use Adobe Acrobat Reader* and a PIN to open the attachment to view, save or print the statement(s).  How do you get a PIN to open your emailed e-Statement?  It's easy!  Log in to NetLink, click on the e-Statements link, then choose the 'Update My Account' button.  Enter a password of your choosing in the 'Password' and 'Password (Confirm)' fields.  A maximum of 16 characters is allowed for password length.  The 'Update My Account' feature allows you to update your email address or personalize your PIN at any time.

Important Notes:

  • NetLink is a FREE service which gives you access to your BHFCU accounts.
  • NetLink supports self-enrollment so all you need is a numeric Quick Teller (QT) access code and Internet access to enroll. If you would like to be enrolled for Quick Teller, please visit a member service representative at your nearest Black Hills Federal Credit Union office.
  • Always print your e-Statement using the pdf's print option.  Printing from your internet browser print function could result in blank pages or misalignment of statement information.
  • Once you register for e-Statements, a paper statement will no longer be mailed to you.
  • You control where your e-Statements are stored, viewed, or printed.

*An Adobe Acrobat file is a file that can be viewed when online from your desktop. It can be saved on your hard drive, or printed, or just viewed without ever having to download it to your hard drive. The file remains on the website; you are just viewing it. The Reader is the only thing you have to download. Keep in mind, that you can now use the Reader to view any other websites that have Acrobat files.

If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can click the icon below for your free download.

Directions:

  1. It's easy. Simply download the Adobe Acrobat Reader, click on the Adobe Acrobat logo to link directly to their site. It's free and takes only a few minutes.

  2. After downloading the reader on your hard drive, install it on your hard drive.  The next time you open your e-Statement, it will open the pdf file in Adobe Acrobat Reader. From there you have the opportunity to simply view it, print it or save it to your hard drive.
