BHFCU is a Community Chartered Federal Credit Union.

In February 1999 Black Hills Federal Credit Union received approval from our federal regulator, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), to convert to a community charter. Our charter allows us to serve businesses and individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in Pennington, Custer, Fall River, Lawrence, or Meade Counties in South Dakota.

Who Is Eligible for BHFCU Membership?

Black Hills Federal Credit Union is limited to members who qualify through our approved Field of Membership as regulated by the National Credit Union Administration.

• Persons who live, work, worship, or attend school, and businesses or other legal entities in Pennington, Custer, Fall River, Lawrence, or Meade Counties in South Dakota;
• Members of their immediate families or households.
